Alphonse Abanda

Chief Executive Officer

Alphonse Abanda is the visionary Founder and CEO of ABA Guru Consulting (AGC), bringing over three decades of unparalleled expertise in organizational development, public health, and strategic leadership across Africa.

Alphonse established AGC from a deep-seated conviction: that organizations often falter not from a lack of passion, but from a deficit in institutional mastery. His career has been dedicated to closing this critical gap.

His profound experience includes pivotal roles in Public Health and Organisational Development, notably with the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services (CBCHS). Here, he championed initiatives focused on Local Capacity Strengthening and Community Empowerment, revitalizing dialogue structures and enabling communities to effectively participate in and own their health systems. This work directly reflects AGC's commitment to building Sustainable Organisations from the ground up.

Furthermore, Alphonse has been instrumental in Strategic Resource Mobilisation through efforts like laying the groundwork for a National NCD Alliance and significant involvement in the CDC/PEPFAR Project Zone I. His track record demonstrates a unique ability to forge high-impact partnerships and manage complex, compliant programs—validating AGC’s expertise in making organizations both MARKETABLE and FUNDABLE.

Under Alphonse's leadership, ABA Guru Consulting is committed to delivering simple, customized, and evidence-based solutions, guiding purpose-driven entities to achieve their full institutional potential and drive lasting, ethical change across Africa.
